Builders of Hope – Julia Yarbough Media Group is proud to produce messaging for an international effort to enhance affordable housing for the Maasai in Kenya.
In the haunting darkness of the primitive stick and mud huts called manyattas, Maasai women and children are silently suffering from malaria and genital mutilation. Over 300,000 Maasai are living in manyattas that lack basic sanitation, lighting, proper ventilation, clean water sources, clean cooking stoves, window screens, and doors. A single donation of $5,000 USD would house an entire family in an eco manyatta with solar power for lighting, screen windows, doors, eco-toilets, water catch basins, and bio gas stoves.
