When Dr. Don Harris of Avian & Exotic Animal Centre alerted me his patient, Lola the tortoise, had an unusual item in her digestive system, I was intrigued. When he explained the item appeared to be a 'turtle pendant' it was obvious this was a situation that screamed media coverage!
