In this season of sharing blessings and giving, it has been my honor at Julia Yarbough Media Group to create visual storytelling helping Maasai women a world away. Working with Builders of Hope to create messaging announcing a new and potentially life-changing initiative for affordable housing in Africa. The organization is leading an effort to bring safe, modern an culturally signification housing to the Maasai people of Kenya.

Those of you who have followed my musings often hear me say, “trust the process.” And here’s why. A series of chance events over the past five years led me to Kenyan architect Ronald Omyonga, featured here on my website. That meeting led me to Africa not once, but twice to produce corporate video messaging for a Montana-based firm and then a global corporation – General Electric.

So when my friend and colleague, Ronald, asked me to speak to the individuals who led Builders of Hope and to consider his latest project, I of course said yes. The Builders of Hope team saw the value in Omyonga’s dream of creating visual storytelling helping Maasai women and now the wheels are in motion.

I am proud to share with you the latest video produced by Julia Yarbough Media Group which outlines the housing project that has the potential to improve the lives of thousands of people in Africa.

Bottom line: we are all blessed in most everything we do each and everyday. Giving back is easy and not just during the holiday season. I look forward to working with many of you and creating so much more in the months and years ahead. To learn how, visit Julia Yarbough Media Group.

Until next time~
